SafetySorb™ Zeolite is used in sewage treatment plants for the removal of nitrogen from waste streams and to deodorize methane gas from those facilities.  Safetysorb™ is also utilized in the treatment filter beds as a replacement for Sand as it filters down to 5 microns whereby sand only filters to the 15 micron level. 

Additionally, Safetysorb™ Zeolite provides filtration capacity twice the speed of sand and doubles the life of the filter bed.
